A'DAM Lookout is the observation deck on top of the A'DAM Tower in Amsterdam-Noord, directly across the water from Central Station. From the top you look out over the historic centre, the harbour and the polder landscape beyond the city, with an interactive exhibition about Amsterdam on the way up. Outside on the roof is the 'Over the Edge' swing, which swings out over the edge of the building. The tower is reached with the free ferry from behind Central Station in a few minutes. Practical information

How to get there

Take the free ferry from the back of Amsterdam Central Station across the IJ to Buiksloterweg; the A'DAM Tower stands right next to the ferry landing at Overhoeksplein 1.

How long to plan

Allow about an hour for the lift, the exhibition and the view; longer if you want to try the swing or stay for a drink.

What is included with our tickets

Our ticket is the entrance ticket for the observation deck with the lift and the exhibition. The swing and food and drinks are extra unless the product page says otherwise.

Tips

Sunset slots give the best light over the city and sell out first. The ferry runs day and night and is free.
